The Goldfinch is a contemporary Christchurch restaurant known for blending European and Asian influences into a modern shared dining experience centred around premium local produce and hospitality. While the venue had built a strong dining experience and loyal customer base, its location made it difficult to naturally attract visibility from passing foot traffic, creating the need for a stronger and more intentional digital presence.

Our partnership focused on building awareness across as many digital channels as possible while positioning The Goldfinch as one of Christchurch’s standout modern dining destinations. Before working together, the venue had done little to no active marketing, so the strategy centred around creating a connected digital ecosystem that could drive discovery, bookings, and long-term customer growth.

We designed and developed a new website that reflected the restaurant’s modern identity while improving the customer journey for bookings, menus, and events. Alongside the website, we delivered ongoing photography, video production, social media management, email marketing, Meta advertising, and Google Ads campaigns designed to consistently place the brand in front of both new and returning audiences across Christchurch.

A major part of the strategy also focused on showcasing Bhubnesh, the owner and head chef behind The Goldfinch. As an incredibly talented chef with a strong creative vision, building his personal visibility online became an important part of strengthening the restaurant’s identity and long-term brand value. Through storytelling, social content, and video production, we helped bring more attention to the person behind the restaurant while building a digital presence that could support both The Goldfinch and future hospitality ventures as the brand continues to grow.
