When Hazy Tiger opened in Auckland’s CBD in late 2024, it brought a completely new flavour to the local dining scene—Korean tapas, neon interiors, and a bold, nightlife-ready atmosphere. The venue quickly gained attention for its inventive small plates, playful cocktails, and moody, electric vibe. But as a newly launched space, Hazy Tiger needed more than buzz to translate interest into steady foot traffic and bookings.

By early 2025, Hosper joined the journey to help build that traction. At the time, the venue had a promising concept and strong potential but lacked a marketing system that could scale awareness, capture new audiences, and nurture repeat guests. Our focus was clear: implement a multi-channel marketing approach that would drive bookings, boost brand visibility, and support long-term growth.

From the outset, we placed strong emphasis on social media. Through regular content shoots and a clear visual style, we established a consistent brand identity online—one that echoed the venue’s in-person vibe: punchy, colourful, and bold. Hero dishes like bulgogi tacos, grilled skewers, oil tteokbokki, and matcha misutgaru desserts were featured alongside atmospheric bar shots and guest content, giving new diners a clear sense of what to expect.

Alongside organic content, we launched geo-targeted paid ads designed to capture local audiences looking for group dining, after-work drinks, or weekend eats. Ads were tailored for visibility, click-through, and conversion—driving traffic directly to Hazy Tiger’s booking system. This was supported by a steady rhythm of email campaigns, each crafted to promote events, share menu highlights, or reward loyal guests with early access and exclusive offers.

As our work continued, the results became clear. Bookings increased steadily, function enquiries grew in volume and quality, and Hazy Tiger began to cement itself as one of Auckland’s most recognisable contemporary dining spots. What started as a new venue with limited reach has grown into a fully realised brand—both digitally and in person—thanks to a marketing strategy that keeps pace with the energy of the space itself.
